The Technology Center of Generali jeniot in Pero (MI) is a technical center of excellence dedicated to innovation, research and training: from low-speed crash tests to the study of repair processes, from the validation of telematic devices to ADAS, from connected cars to electric vehicles, from IoT sensors for the smart home to antitheft devices. Jeniot studies and analyses the impacts of new technologies on the insurance world, safety, and protection. The crash area is the heart of the Technology Center in which comparable results are provided through the internationally shared RCAR protocol. Thanks to a deep experience with telematic devices and a huge crash test database, jeniot has designed, built, and patented JADA, a robotic cell for testing accelerometer-based telematic devices as black boxes and IoT devices. The tests are made with a robot capable of accurately reproduce the stresses on a device installed in a vehicle involved in a collision. In the field of research and experimentation on driver assistance systems, since 2018, jeniot has developed and continuously upgraded an innovative project with the purpose of improving driver safety by testing the actual performance of safety systems on a testing track. 

 

In addition to the research field, the Technology Center offers consulting and training services to car manufacturers, insurance companies, and automotive industry operators: jeniot academy is the key investment to remain competitive in an increasingly connected world. Training at jeniot academy allows acquiring the necessary skills to understand the latest repair procedures and processes, safety features, and new technologies. Moreover, Generali jeniot offers specialist consultancy on mobility technology and product development.
